	The "Guess How Many Bread Tags Are In The Jar" Lottery was conducted during the month of December, 2005. The public was invited to view images of a largish pickle jar containing bread tags. After formulating a guess at how many tags were in the jar, participants entered the lottery via the web or in person at the Supermegacorporation Bread Tag Lottery Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The tags were collected over a period of five years at the Supermegacorporation offices in Oakland, San Diego, Memphis, Brooklyn, Boise and Portland. THE OFFICIAL COUNT: * 710 TAGS * The official count was conducted at Supermegacorporation Bread Tag Lottery Headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Bread tags were counted by two deputies whose counts were then verified by an executive lottery official. WINNERS: Congratulations FRED NEMO of Portland, Oregon. http://www.myspace.com/frednemo Fred's guess of 675 tags was closest to, without exceeding, the official count. Fred received the Jackpot of $26 (less operating expenses). Honorable mention goes to KEVIN HEAD of Woodford Green, United Kingdom, whose guess of 711 tags nearly matched the official count. Kevin will receive a consolation prize of items from the Supermegacorporation catalogue.
